Puzzle Riddle – Warm-Up Mission Right before the participants fly off to complete all kinds of missions around the world,they receive this warm-up mission –a relatively simple task where the players find an envelope (that you hide) with a 8-piece puzzle inside.On the puzzle is the sentence: "All For One And One For ___". Ancient Egypt The ancient Egyptians were famous for their hieroglyphic writing and for their mummies.In this mission the participants have to decode a secret message written in hieroglyphs:"Who can be a mummy"<img src="https://d2hjjj9j1y2hkb.cloudfront.net/0b3a2550-1e4d-44dd-b7a6-9f4a717c73b7.png" width="177"> After that, they even become a mummy themselves by wrapping toilet paper around one of the players!<img src="https://d2hjjj9j1y2hkb.cloudfront.net/c7c3b006-55ed-4685-a4a6-d64136f93dd3.png" width="143">

China Mission China, the empire of rice!!!In this mission, Shosotsikiwa, a Chinese rice expert, will guide the teams:<img src="https://raceparty.s3.amazonaws.com/images/1e7944c2-f9e2-428d-aa9a-523e8540f136.png" width="198"> In this mission, teams must fish out slips of paper in their team color from a big bowl of dry rice using chopsticks only!!!﻿The slips will reveal the code: “No rice, no food, no life”. Afterwards, Shosotsikiwa asks the players to guess how many grains of rice are in the bowl???It’s a tricky guessing game – by guessing numbers and getting hints like “more” or “too little”, the players eventually discover that there are 28,500 grains of rice in the bowl :-)

In this mission, the players must pull slips out of a bowl of dry rice.

England Mission The detective stories of Sherlock Holmes take place in England. In this mission, players become detectives. Their challenge? Figure out where in the house six mysterious photos were taken. Sounds easy? Think again… Each photo (that you’ll take) is an extreme close-up—like it was captured through a magnifying glass, from incredibly close range. Players must identify each location, race there, and find a hidden note you’ve placed. Once they collect all six notes, they’ll uncover the final sentence: “Life Is Better When You’re Laughing.”

In this mission the kids must find an object based on a zoomed-in photo of it.

Million-Dollar-Mission

Welcome to your Amazing Race Birthday adventure!

On the big day, divide players into teams.

Each team joins the race using their phone and receives 10 exciting challenges inspired by countries around the world!

Some challenges are brain games played on your phone.

Others are hands-on missions in the real world.

We were looking for an original idea for a 10th birthday. Tom really loves “The Amazing Race,” so this was perfect for us! We don’t have a big house, so an at-home activity was exactly what we needed :-)The activity includes a warm-up challenge, nine country-themed stations, and a final challenge.The instructions are lovely and explain exactly what needs to be prepared for each station :-)When the kids arrived, we divided them into groups of 3–4 children and let them dress up in their team colors. We kicked off the race by giving each group its own barcode – and off they went. Tom really enjoyed it and we got amazing feedback!!!!
